Octave Plateau
Formed in the early 90's Octave Plateau take their name from a synthesizer manufacturer of the late 70's early 80's whose most notable creation was the Voyetra8... a super fab, phat analogue rack-mount synth!
As you'd expect, Octave Plateau employ many retro synthesizers in their studio, including an aged Voyetra8. The influences of the band derive from many corners of the world of electronica and techno. But the overall sound is distinctly dubby with a techno, trance fusion via hip/trip-hop beats.
Creating music late into the night, The plateau's dimly lit, smoke filled studio buzzes and creaks to sound all their own.
From the mysterious ambience of tracks like Gerald Fitz Ella & Qwaid Azin Quad to the thumping breaks and trance of Ominous Sound & Galileo through trip hop laced pieces like Neon Bud & SlowFall, Octave Plateau have a cuious take on everything they touch.
