Live at Brixton CD-R by Zyklus

Information:

Recorded as part of the Invisible Sound series at London Junction Brixton, June 2000. The recordings were created spontaneously from a small selection or pre-made and found-sound sources.

All the tracks were recorded in one continuous take and feature, amoung other things, gongs, bowls, audience noise and filtered feedback. Creating a dense and at times choked sound scape.

The emphasis on these recordings is on 'quality of sound' and not 'sound quality'. The odd noises and querks which the listener may hear are considered to be part of the overall effect Zyklus are trying to achieve and are left in deliberatley. They are an integral part of the music.
